That's right, you didn't expect that twist - the Snake is a NIMBY! You are in fact playing the villain of this piece. You thought the snake was pure and their desire to shit on things came from their environmental concerns? 

Maybe this game is an allegory for a supposedly leftist councilor in a city near you who got voted in with the backing of your countries Green party? A councilor who then turned around and voted against high density zoning laws for no real good reason. 

Or maybe you're reading too much into this and it's just a gameplay idea I toyed around with that didn't really have legs. Thanks for playing this metagame 'is all art inherently political' that I shoehorned into the description.
